I want everyone to know, that in this depressed economy, there are still people reaching out to help others. Every day I receive anywhere between three to five e-mails that offer me the chance to make millions. Almost each e-mail that I receive on this subject is from the daughter/son/wife/underling of some third world emperor who was ousted as leader, then slaughtered, but not before stashing 14, 18 or even 28 million dollars in a secret bank account. The offer to me is this, I can keep 25% of the money if only I will send them my checking account number, and all my personal informatiion so that they can then deposit the money into my account. And did I say that I monitor my company's website e-mail box whose address is soemthing like us-sales @mycompany.com. So these oh so serious e-mails are being sent to no one in particular. I'm wondering if in fact anyone would ever be so destitute that they would fall for this. I cannot comprehend that anyone would.
