I was just wondering about the upcoming election.
What would happen if a presidential candidate should happen to die before he/she had a chance to be elected?
Would the VP candidate move on up, or would the runner up in the primary step up to the plate?
Just a thought.

If the candidate dies before the election, the party will nominate another candidate, it could be the VP candidate, but that's up to the party...
If he dies after the election but before being inaugurated, then the VP-elect becomes the President-elect...
