I was on Yahoo this morning and this article caught my eye: Study shows that husbands create 7 hours of extra housework a week.
This is my question, why the hell would anyone need a study, and who paid for it? As a cost saving measure, wouldn't it have been easier to just ask a woman? Any married woman knows that no matter how great a guy is, you are going to clean up after him sooner or later. Whether it be getting soap scum off of a shower stall, or vacuuming up the copious amounts of hair that they seem to shed every time they take a shower, you are definitely going to clean up after them. When this great guy decides that he is going to cook for you, you know he is going to use every pot, pan and utensil in the kitchen, and you will find food spattered in places that makes you ask yourself, "How the hell did he manage to do that?". Nevertheless, because he cooked for you, you will clean up.
I think I want to be the genius who comes up with the next study. Yeah, let's examine whether or not your recyclables increase once you are married, in particular aluminum beer cans. I'm betting that they will increase, but of course, I better wait for the actual study for validation.
